The 2 Steps YOU MUST DO to Have a Successful Facebook Party

Let’s just dive right in, shall we?

There are two things that must be done for you to have a $1,000 party!

Step 1: BEFORE YOUR PARTY

You must invite your guest 1 on 1. With individual text, FB messages, a phone call or asking them IRL (in real life🤓😉)  This is a CAN’T SKIP STEP.

Your guest are your real friends and family members. Treat them as such with a personal invitation.

It’s as easy as, “Hey! I’m having an online Thirty One party and I really want you to come! Wanna?!” Or “Want an invite to shop my Thirty One party? It’s all online and will be a lot of fun!”

Invite them to your Thirty One party the same way you would invite them to a birthday party! Just ask casually!

(I do NOT allow my hostess to mass add to their parties. That's a sure fire way to land you, and me, in FB jail.. plus it's super impersonal- so I stay clear!)

Step 2: AFTER YOUR PARTY

It’s time to start those 1 on 1 conversations back up.

Reaching out to your guest once the party is over is where 80% of orders will come from, so it’s a must!

Once your 31 minute main event is finished, start sending messages to EACH of your guest (remember- personal messages/text/calls!) thanking them for hanging out and asking them what they loved!

This is the most fun part! YOU get to SHOP WITH YOUR GIRLFRIENDS. Ask them how they’ll monogram their new travel bag, or what print they’re loving in the purse+wallet combo! Have fun with it! Your people need fun and you and I are bringing it!

If you can complete those two steps with enthusiasm, you’ll certainly walk away with your full wishlist for FREE!🥰

My First Time Building a Charcuterie Board

Hi y’all! 👋
Charcuterie board newbie here! I had never even ate from a board- not in my last 5 or so memborable years anyway, before much less MAKE one.

But it’s all the hype around the holidays and I am all about food.. especially if it’s pretty.

I started Pinterest-ing (my favorite verb) different boards.. and can we just go ahead and say thank GOD for predicted text because charcuterie is hard to spell! Let alone say into your talk to text microphone that doesn’t understand my southern twang half the time on easy words.
I found lots of pretty board inspo and woke up the next morning excited to go up and down every aisle of Trader Joe’s picking out crackers and meats for my very first board.

Except, I forgot it was Saturday, 3 weeks before Christmas and Trader Joe’s is next to the mall. Yeahhhh... no thanks🙅🏼‍♀️

So I made a little list and went to Kroger. I was not disappointed! It was actually SOO much fun. I had a blast looking through the different types of crackers and cheeses, sliced meats and fruits. I thoroughly enjoyed it and just went about my business living my best life. It was like the best by-myself date I’ve ever had!
If you’re ever looking for something to do alone, I highly suggest charcuterie board snack shopping☺️

Tim asked me to wait until he got home to put it together so he could “help,” and I wish I hadn’t waited.. lol. He was basically on his phone the whole time and I would have enjoyed it more if I could have taken my time and played around a little more. But it was nice to have him there for pictures. #instagramboyfriend

I started with my Thirty One Close to Home Round Tray. It’s made from mango wood (which is super easy to grow and harvest. Yay earth friendly!) and is food grade safe so no nasty stuff. Plus. It’s beautiful so even if it wasn’t safe for food, I would’ve used it anyway.

I put two small bowls on opposite sides of the tray and lined them with two different types of crackers. I wish I could say I had the bowls just sitting because I’m fancy but I’m not.. they were just two different sized measuring bowls from Pioneer Woman😅 but they worked perfectly.

Next, I lined one side of the edge of the board with porchetta and mozzarella rolls. (Purchased like 10 rolled for $6 and cut them in half. Worked super well!)

From here, I started working quickly placing things from the outside to the inside of the circle. We were getting hungry. I couldn’t tell you my “technique” because I didn’t really have one since it was my first time and I was feeling rushed to finish so we could eat.

I did make sure not to have two like snacks next to each other on the board if I could help it. For example, no two crackers next to each other or no two cheeses next to each other.

My board turned out way more beautifully than I expected and it was super yummy and filly.
If you’re looking for how much to use per person, there’s plenty to help you online, but since this was purely for my own enjoyment and our dinner, I just filled it up and made it look good.

I look forward to creating my next board using a Thirty One Close to Home Tray in the rectangle shape vs. the circle, but if you ask me the circle would be more challenging. But I believe in you.. you could handle either!

How to Make the BEST Hot Chocolate EVER!

It’s definitely the most wonderful time of the year!

This is the BEST cup of hot chocolate I have ever had and I’m not sure if it’s because it’s the first of the season or because of the way I made it this morning!♥️

I read  a post the other day that talked about glorifying your life and I feel like that’s something I used to do that I’ve strayed away from in the last few months. And I don’t know about you but the seasonal blues hit me hard when the sun starts setting at 4pm🤦🏽‍♀️ So I knew I needed to get back into living for every. single. moment if I was going to life my mood.

I woke up ready to take on the day, even though we’re going on day 3 of no sunshine here in Louisville (please sweet baby Jesus.. let there be light!!!). I thrive off of sunshine and all the good vitamins. BUT instead of dwelling on the fact that I was going to have to work in the dark today, I decided to jump out of bed, do my hair.. which I NEVER do.. helllloooo work from home life😅.. and get ready.

I threw together a hot chcolate station at like 1am last night and I was excited to show it off to my friends! I was so proud of the creative juices that were flowing so late and that I finally had a corner in my kitchen that screamed MERRY!

And of course, after I was finished showing it off, I was craving a creamy glass of hot chocolate!

That first sip WARMED my soul, and although I had already set the positive tone for my day, it affirmed that today was going to ROCK!

Here’s are the three steps I took that I think made this cup the best cup I’ve ever had...
1.) I added a little extra to a typical cup of hot chocolate. Two BIG marshmallows and a peppermint spoon were exactly what my “glorify your life” motto needed.

2.) I chose my FAVORITE mug. Even though there is no snow on the ground.  Everything taste better when it’s coming out of your favorite mug!

3.) I said a prayer.
I prayed for peace over the things I have no control over and asked for grace because I need to know that my (kinda bad) attitude lately deserves forgiveness. I prayed that He would remind me that I am worthy of all good things just because I am the daughter of The King who rules the world. I am not worthy because of my martial status or job title, but because I am me, and that is enough. And I prayed that the cup of hot chocolate I was about to demolish would be the best I’ve ever had.

And it was.
