I, yes, the bag lady, forgot her bags at home when going to the store... *face palm* Which resulted in me trying to be hulk and carry all the bags in at once and not only hurting my arms, but spilling the milk. Sigh.
So I started thinkin', and I know I'm not alone. I know that many of my customers, and other ladies who just are done with plastic bags, mean well. We do! We buy these bags that will pay for themselves, and we feel good because we're saving the planet... and then,
we forget our reusable Essential Storage Totes and Large Utility Totes at home. Que face palm #2.
I blame it on mom brain. And since I'm not a mom, I blame it on y'alls mom brain rubbing off on me;)
But don't worry, I've sat here for the sake of us all, and have come up with two solutions.
1. For those of you who are extremely talented and don't need to make a grocery list before heading out the door... KEEP YOUR BAGS IN YOU BACK SEAT. Or better, your passenger seat. You won't miss them there. I would say keep one in your trunk, and if that works for you, great. But I even somehow manage to forget them there too.
I know our LUT (large utility tote) and Essential Storage Tote are so amazing that we want to use them for everything, but trust me... As soon as you think, "I need to go grocery shopping.." Stop what you're doing and put those bags in your car.
Or....
2. For those of us reliant on our list, we've got it made. Before starting our list, we will simple add "DON'T FORGET YOUR BAGS!" at the top. Easy peasy. Right?
I've even thought about taking the extra step for my customers and sending y'all a cute notepad for groceries that already says, "DON'T FORGET YOUR BAGS!" printed on it.
It would make all the difference!
