DO THE THINGS THAT MAKE YOU HAPPY

Maybe I've been listening to Rachel Hollis too much (lol, not really!) but, I mean, REALLY!
Each morning when you wake up, YOU get to decide how your day goes. Y'all, there use to be MANY mornings when my alarm went off and I would snooze it for hours.
Yes, hours..
I'm not a morning person....

But then my day would drag. I would feel unproductive, lazy and just all around blah. I knew, if I wanted to have happier days, I would have to change something, and getting out of bed earlier was it. It was a small sacrifice, for a big reward.
My days are good.
I get up, usually around 8:30, I have time to get ready, tend to my city farm and can still have coffee in my office when I start working.

I use to sleep in until 10 or 11am, y'all. I didn't have to change the time I woke up- I'm my own boss. But I am a better version of myself because I did.

I've told Tim before, if I was the person I am today 4 years ago, I would have stopped at Starbucks on my way to work (at a job I DREADED!) if I knew that would make me happier. If I knew buying a cute, new workout gear would get me in the gym, I would treat myself. If I knew the best thing for me was to chill and take a bubble bath when I felt like I was drowning in homework, I would have.. because after I take care of myself, I can pour even more into others (my passion) and my activities.

Do it. Do the thing that helps you be the best version of yourself.

Want to relax? Swap massages with your S/O.
Need a nap? Take one.
Want a pick me up? Stop by Starbucks.
Need to stay motivated in the gym? Get a cute gym bag.
