We see the pictures float around on Facebook every year. "Shop Small," or, my favorite, "Every time you shop small an actual person does a happy dance."
That one sticks with me, because it kind of sums up my business 110%. Every night I'm partying online and an order comes through, I get giddy and jiggle. Then I show Tim, and send thank you's out.
I don't think the little shimmy I do will ever go away. Which is why I probably love that quote so much.
I saw another quote the other morning, which had to be placed in front of me as a God wink since I knew I wanted to finalize this Shop Small List.

A Gift that Keeps on Giving- Boudoir Shoots
One of the best gifts I've ever given was to Tim. It may have been for his birthday, but would work perfectly for Christmas to.
I had been looking into getting boudoir pictures done for a while. I was following along on this gals business and looking through her pictures and was amazed at her work. So I finally worked up the courage, said heck with what anyone else thought, and booked my session with her. It was one of the most brave, out of my comfort zone things I have ever done, and the results were fabulous! Danielle is skilled and the pictures turned out fabulous- Tim loved them. But I'm all about a gift that keeps on giving, and those photos did just that. Danielle made me feel comfortable and confident. It's an experience I will never forget and always cherish.

Another one of my personal favorite small shops. Adrienne is the shop owner and possibly one of the most talented women I've come across. (Another great thing about shopping small, and social media... new friends!) She makes handcrafted jewelry (also on my Christmas list!) and hand-lettered apparel. My favorite holiday mug actually came from Crossing 413 and you can find it here- only the cutest snowman ever! Crossing 413 was founded off of Philippians 4:13. Adrienne is a breath of fresh air on social media and I know y'all will love following her as much as I do!
